About Tujunga
Tujunga began in 1913 as Little Landers, a farming colony founded by William E. Smythe around the idea that a family could live well on a little land. Its stone clubhouse, Bolton Hall, still stands today as a local history museum.
The community joined the City of Los Angeles in 1932 and grew into Sunland-Tujunga, with Foothill Blvd as its main street and the Verdugo Mountains and Angeles National Forest right outside the door.
It's a foothill community with a small-town feel, and our Montrose salon is a quick drive east.
